SunSitters is a locally owned Home Watch company providing in-person oversight for unoccupied homes and local support for absentee homeowners in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

When a home is unoccupied, small, everyday issues can quietly turn into expensive problems without someone physically present. SunSitters provides consistent, on-site oversight and clear communication so homeowners know what’s happening at their property—even when they’re not there.

Stephanie brings a background in education, technology, and medical device sales, with a career focused on problem-solving, communication, and accountability. She co-founded SunSitters to provide homeowners with clear insight into what’s happening at their property—without guesswork or assumptions. Stephanie believes peace of mind comes from consistent presence, documented oversight, and dependable communication.
Ben’s professional background spans industrial operations, technology, and entrepreneurship. His approach is practical, methodical, and detail-oriented—qualities that are essential in Home Watch oversight. As co-founder of SunSitters, Ben focuses on reliability, follow-through, and maintaining the standards homeowners expect when someone is entrusted with access to their home.

Home Watch requires more than a checklist. It requires judgment, consistency, and accountability.

SunSitters performs scheduled, in-person visits that focus on visual observation of readily accessible areas of the home. We look for obvious or unusual conditions—such as signs of water intrusion, storm-related damage, power outages, or environmental concerns—and provide documented reporting so homeowners are informed of what is observed.

SunSitters’ visits are non-invasive. We do not perform technical evaluations, trade inspections, or assessments, and we do not access attics, roofs, crawlspaces, or other restricted areas.
SunSitters operates with defined standards and controlled access.
All visits are performed by authorized team members and overseen by ownership to ensure consistency, accountability, and clear communication.
